I love sitting in my bouncy chair. It's one of my favorite places for a couple of different reasons. I've had it since I've come home and spent many many nights in it ... as that's where I sleep when I get stuffy in my nose ... and I get stuffy a lot. Daddy says I keep him awake with all the noise my nose makes when I sleep. Mommy says she's hoping I'll grow out of it, but if I don't poor Lance will just have to get used to it, since we'll be sharing a room together really soon.
When I sit in my chair, it bounces up and down. Sometimes Parker will bounce me to sleep. Other times Lance bounces me almost right out of it. It's a good thing I have a seat belt in it. I also love to play peek-a-boo; like I'm doing in the picture below. All my family makes me giggle so much when they play this cool game with me.
My bouncy chair also has some a couple of really cool friends to keep me company when everyone else is too busy to play. There is a bumble bee and a raccoon. I have got really good grabbing ahold of the bee's wing and trying to pull him off so I can kiss him. But he's pretty strong. The raccoon makes noise when I shake him...but I like looking at the bee's bright colors the most. Mommy says that for now I am using my right hand more since I reach for the bee the most. Maybe she should put the bee on my left side to see if it's the hand I'm using more..or the bee that I like more. I'll have to remind her to try that next time.
And as for that 'attitude' I mentioned earlier. Well, I've discovered this really cool sound I can make. It's called a SCREEEAM! Mommy kept telling me that I'd have to speak up in this house if I wanted to be heard. But I don't think she anticipated how serious I would take that advice. Because now I can really belt it out...and I pretty much do it all day now. Daddy's skin crawls when I yell, so I pretty much get picked up right away. Mommy seems to let me hurt my throat a little more until she finally responds. Parker tends to help me get mommy's attention by telling her he can't stand it and would she please 'take care of it?'. Lance absolutely hates it, covers his ears and runs into the other room.
I've pretty much become a slobber hound (as mommy calls it). We're not sure if I'm teething or not, but I'm constantly drooling now.
Well, that's about all for now. I'll be going in for another check up this next week to see how much I've grown. I'll update you on that when I find out.
